Our Brand Story
Our founder, Padmapriya has a great passion for Handloom and Hand printed Sarees. She personally believes that Hand-woven/Handloom sarees are an emotion, which connects both the wearer and weaver miles apart.

The Journey of Vayatistudio
From a young age, she held a fascination for sarees, captivated by their intricate embroidery, vivid colours, and unique texture. The sarees worn by the women around her, ranging from teachers to aunts, left a lasting impression on her, and she still admires their beauty today. She thoroughly enjoyed shopping for sarees, relishing the chance to see them in person and experience their texture.
After studies, She started her career in fast paced world of IT, working tirelessly to climb the corporate ladder. In the need to balance a successful career with being present for family, especially growing kids who needed her attention and care, She made a courageous choice to bid farewell to my IT career, after working for 10 years.
As family, they had the challenge of relocating overseas, seeking new experiences and opportunities for the husband and children. Despite leaving a corporate role, she held an unwavering desire for self-reliance, personal income, and achieve for her self. Upon returning to India, she found inspiration in an unexpected source - her mother. A remarkable woman who defied age and societal norms as a single mother, her mother continued to work well into her seventies. Her mother's wisdom left a profound impact: "Human beings should rest only when they are physically unable to. Until then, live on your own money, be self-sufficient, and never stop pursuing your dreams."
With those words resonating, she embarked on a new journey to pursue her passion for sarees and turn her dream of becoming an entrepreneur into a reality through Vayatistudio. Though challenging, her knowledge of Indian textiles, love for sarees, and determination guided her to success.
She set out to accomplish this with a clear purpose in mind: to show hher daughter and other girls that with a little grit and determination, they can reach for the stars and make their dreams come true.
